1. Installation requirements:
During the installation process, the bursting disc must be kept clean and carefully checked for any damage, corrosion, bubbles or inclusions.
The identification plate should be installed facing the discharge direction. The inlet pipe of the bursting disc needs to be as short and straight as possible, and its diameter should be at least equal to the nominal diameter of the bursting disc.
The outlet pipe should be led to a safe area or a closed recovery system, and sufficient support structure must be provided.
The design of the outlet pipe should ensure that the internal flow velocity does not exceed 0.5 Mach.
When the bursting disc is used independently as a pressure relief device, its inlet pipe should be equipped with a shut-off valve, and the valve should be sealed in the open state.
If the bursting disc is used in series with the safety valve, a pressure gauge and a discharge valve should be installed between the two.
The pressure gauge and the discharge valve can be installed on the holder, but this requirement must be specifically noted when ordering.
2. Maintenance requirements:
Under normal circumstances, bursting discs do not require special maintenance, but they should be inspected regularly to check whether there are scratches, corrosion, deformation and foreign matter adsorption on the surface.
Burst discs should be replaced regularly to ensure that they are in good working condition.
When using bursting discs and safety valves in series, the pressure gauge should be checked regularly to accurately determine whether the bursting disc has ruptured.
If the bursting disc is found to be ruptured or its performance has deteriorated, it should be replaced immediately.
It is necessary to establish a complete bursting disc file management mechanism, which will help to identify and deal with possible safety risks in a timely manner, ensure the continued stable operation of the equipment and the safety of the staff.
